As an executive with more than 30 years of experience in the high-end construction industry, Christopher “Chris” McNally serves as the president of Falcon Enterprises Associates in New York City. Through his leadership at Falcon Enterprises, Chris McNally has overseen contributions from his company to organizations like the Central Park Conservancy.
Created in 1980 as a non-profit organization to help improve and manage Central Park, the Central Park Conservancy has provided more than $950 million for the upkeep of New York City’s 843-acre urban park. The Conservancy is responsible for raising 75 percent of the park’s budget each year, and receives funding from sources that include individuals, foundations, and corporations, as well as from the City of New York.
The funding received by the Central Park Conservancy goes to meet different needs in the park, including restoration projects for historic structures like Belvedere Castle. Built in 1869, Belvedere Castle is a miniature castle that provides visitors to Central Park with panoramic views of the area. The Castle houses the Henry Luce Nature Observatory as well.
